We waited 24 hours after attaching the caddy to the shower wall before we loaded the generously sized caddy with shampoo and other stuff.One note, some people reported that the plastic stabilizer pieces were missing. You can find them in the same bubble-wrap bag as the suction cups. They are small, clear and hard to see. The bubble wrap can easily hide them.The caddie works great attached to our subway tile shower walls. Nice smooth surfaces make good suction attaching points.
